More universities announce admission scores based on transcripts

Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Vice Principal of Van Lang University, said that in the first round, the school received more than 10,000 applications based on high school transcripts. Of which, majors in the health sector had the highest admission scores.

Specifically, the highest admission score for dentistry, medicine, and pharmacy is 24 points. Next is multimedia and public relations with 20 points. These are the two majors with a standard score 2 points higher than the minimum score.

Meanwhile, nursing and medical laboratory technology both have 19.5 points. The remaining majors have an admission score of 18.

In particular, 11 majors with aptitude subjects include architecture, interior design, graphic design, fashion design, industrial design (product design), digital art design, piano, vocal music, film-television technology, film-television directing, drama acting, and film-television with a standard score of 24, in which the aptitude subject is doubled.

According to Dr. Tuan, in general, the benchmark scores of this year's training majors at Van Lang University are equivalent to 2023.

Dr. Tuan further noted that according to university admission regulations, all candidates admitted early and admitted with conditions at Van Lang University must register their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training according to regulations.

In addition, candidates need to ensure the high school graduation requirements and supplement their records (temporary graduation certificate for candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam) to be officially recognized as admitted according to regulations.

Van Lang University continues to accept applications for the second round of high school transcripts from April 8 to May 31. At the same time, the school also accepts early admission applications with methods of considering the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam, and direct admission for candidates who meet the school's criteria.
