In the 1/8 round of the 2023/2024 National Cup, The Cong Viettel Club will face the Hanoi Police Club. This is considered the most interesting match because these two teams are both in the group with the top financial potential and player quality in Vietnam.
This is also the first match where the name The Cong reappears. The military team hopes that this familiar name will help fill the stands at Hang Day Stadium.
