Thai VG appeared confused and reserved when sitting in the hot seat of Rap Viet for the first time.

In the opening episode, Thai VG was quite quiet and somewhat passive due to his limited Vietnamese ability. To help the audience understand what Thai VG shared, the crew made subtitles every time the male coach shared in English.

MC Tran Thanh also asked Thai VG to raise his hand if he didn't understand what others were saying so he could translate it into English.

In the opening song of the coaches and judges, Thai VG's rap was also mainly in English.

At the CADMIUM competition, Thai VG also shared about his Vietnamese ability: "I have lived in the US since I was young, so my Vietnamese has gradually disappeared over time, but it will improve again.

I just want to say the difference here is that you were born in Vietnam, and I was born in America, but we both have Vietnamese blood and I am very proud of that. And I think when we are together, we will become very strong."
