Implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance has been actively promoting and mobilizing organizations and individuals to volunteer to donate social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.
Over the past 4 years, Thai Nguyen Social Insurance has donated 734 social insurance books and 1,412 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances throughout the province. Thereby, creating a habit for everyone to participate in social insurance and health insurance, preventing health risks when they reach retirement age for themselves and contributing to political and social stability in the area.
In addition to giving and supporting social insurance books and health insurance cards, Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance also strives to propagate and popularize policies, promote the development of social insurance and health insurance participants in many diverse and rich forms. Advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval to support 30% of health insurance contributions for near-poor households in the area; coordinate with Thai Nguyen Central Hospital to examine and give medicine to people in difficult circumstances in Dinh Hoa district, visit and give gifts to poor patients with health insurance cards being treated at the hospital on the occasion of Tet.
In addition, the unit also promotes calling on businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists in the area to join hands to support social insurance and health insurance books and bring a warm Tet to people in difficult circumstances, thereby creating opportunities for people to access health care with health insurance and receive social insurance pensions when they reach retirement age.
