Thach Ha awards the OCOP product introduction contest among students

After nearly 1 month of implementation, the Organizing Committee of the Contest "Introducing OCOP products of Thach Ha district through videos/clips" received 47 videos and clips from students in 34 schools.

On the morning of January 26, the Department of Education and Training of Thach Ha district coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the district, the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of the district to organize the award ceremony of the Contest "Introducing OCOP products of Thach Ha district through videos/clips" and launched the program "Welcoming the Year of the Dragon with students and teachers in difficult circumstances".

The contest "Introducing OCOP products of Thach Ha district through videos/clips" was launched from the end of December 2023 in primary and secondary schools in Thach Ha district. After nearly 1 month of implementation, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 47 videos and clips from students in 34 schools.

The videos and clips all show the passion, enthusiasm, responsibility and creativity of students and teachers. Through the videos and clips, Thach Ha's OCOP products are widely promoted and introduced in an attractive way... Thereby, it not only shows the affection, pride and gratitude of the young generation towards those who create products imbued with the identity of their homeland; but also affirms the brand of Thach Ha OCOP products. In particular, this is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and presentation ability; learn about local culture, cuisine and history.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training and Thach Ha District Party Committee awarded a special prize to the group of authors of Thach Ha Town Primary School 1.

At the program, the Organizing Committee of the Contest "Introducing OCOP products of Thach Ha district through videos/clips" awarded 1 special prize, 3 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 15 third prizes, 20 consolation prizes and 3 secondary prizes.

Also at the program, the District Department of Education and Training launched a fundraising campaign to “Welcome the Year of the Dragon with students and teachers in difficult circumstances”. Up to now, organizations and individuals have registered to support and the fund has reached more than 462 million VND. The support source will be made public and gifts will be given to students and teachers in difficult circumstances in the area.
