Focus on propaganda for the 2023 Vietnam Trade Union Congress

The Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term, diplomatic activities, major holidays... are the key contents that the Propaganda Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and the provincial, municipal and affiliated Party Committees need to focus on promoting in the coming time.

On the morning of November 16, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy chaired the Central reporters' conference for November 2023.

The conference was held online with more than 1,400 locations and more than 52,000 delegates nationwide.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Le Van Khanh chaired the Ha Tinh province bridge.

At the conference, delegates heard some general information about current workers and the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.

The 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union is expected to take place from December 1 to 3, 2023. Currently, trade unions at all levels have been urgently completing all tasks. In particular, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has issued Plan No. 368/KH-TLĐ, dated October 18, 2023 on propaganda for the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; sent an official dispatch to provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party Committees of ministries, departments and branches to coordinate with trade union organizations to promote propaganda according to Instruction No. 117/HD-BTGTW dated October 2, 2023 of the Central Propaganda Department on propaganda for the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.

In particular, for the first time before the congress, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize 10 thematic discussion forums to promote the intelligence of delegates in discussing and proposing initiatives to solve major issues facing trade union organizations in the new situation, contributing to building a strong Vietnamese trade union organization, participating in building a modern and strong working class, contributing to realizing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country...

The conference also heard the leaders of the Department of Party and Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security) inform about the 41st Conference of Prison Management Officers in the Asia-Pacific region hosted by Vietnam; the leaders of the Central Inspection Commission informed about the outstanding results of the work of inspection, supervision and party discipline in the first half of the 13th Party Congress term, directions and tasks in the coming time.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy requested the propaganda departments of provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, socio-political organizations, reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists to focus on propagating the contents informed at the conference.

In particular, actively promote the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2023 - 2028, clarify the results in the past 5 years and actively operate before, during and after the congress; promote and emphasize the revolutionary mission of the working class in the new period.

Regarding the Party's supervision work, the propaganda work focuses on the results of the Party's supervision work in the first half of the 13th Congress term, key solutions in the coming time...

In addition, focus on disseminating the socio-economic situation in October and 10 months of 2023; disseminating the event of President Vo Van Thuong and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit Week 2023 and combining bilateral activities in the United States; disseminating major holidays in November and the coming months. At the same time, disseminating some important contents such as: resolutions of the 8th Central Conference of the 13th tenure; 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly...
