PDSI Group wants to invest 1 billion USD in tourism complex and golf course in Binh Thuan

Working with the Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, Mr. Peter Dalkeith Scott, Chairman and General Director of PDSI (Peter Dalkeith Scott International Group, headquartered in Dubai, UAE) gave an overview of PDSI. and projects as well as expressed the desire to invest in Binh Thuan.

Accordingly, PDSI proposed to implement the Commercial, Tourism and Golf Course Complex in Tien Thanh Commune (Phan Thiet City) with a project area of ​​about 425 hectares, with a total investment capital of about 1 billion USD (about 25,000 billion VND) in the first phase. Previously, in November 2024, PDSI Group surveyed the project and planned to invest in the above area.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of Binh Thuan's departments and branches said that PDSI's investment in the project in this area is basically in line with the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister.

Specifically, the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Thuan said that the above area has an expired mineral mine that is in the process of being closed down and a number of forestation and tourism projects that have not been implemented for many years and have been revoked by the Provincial People's Committee.

The leaders of the Department of Construction confirmed that this area is basically clean land and is a project that must seek the opinion of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee before approving the investment policy.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction, the Department of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, based on reality, to guide investors to carry out investment procedures and order in accordance with legal regulations. In addition, strictly control the land fund in this area to avoid re-encroachment.
