Along DT 719, at parking spots, tourist vehicles from 7 seats to 16 seats and 45 seats are parked in long rows along the shops near the beach, showing that Ke Ga tourist destination is attracting tourists no less than other tourist destinations in the province. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - who sells seafood to tourists in the Ke Ga area confided: Recently, there have been quite a lot of tourists coming to Ke Ga, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when tourist buses are running full on the road. Local people are very happy that the province has a policy to upgrade and expand the DT 719 route from Tan Thanh to La Gi. Thanks to the timely upgrade of the route combined with the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway put into operation, the number of tourists coming to Ham Thuan Nam is much higher than in previous years... Stopping at a roadside cafe where drivers are sitting and sipping coffee waiting for tourist groups to pick them up, I got to know Mr. Ho Trong Ha - a 45-seat contract driver who transports passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Ke Ga for sightseeing, he said: I have been transporting tourists for LV company from Ho Chi Minh City to La Gi, Phan Thiet for nearly 10 years now. In previous years, we used to take tourists to Ke Ga on a tourist route, but the tourists complained that the road was bad and the ride was very tiring, so the company did not include Ke Ga on the route. Since the beginning of the year, especially when the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway was opened and the DT 719 road was upgraded, the number of tourists registering for the Ke Ga - Tien Thanh - Mui Ne tour has increased dramatically. Every week, our car runs 2 tours carrying over 40 tourists from Ho Chi Minh City to Ke Ga...

The road surface structure is compact asphalt concrete on a crushed stone aggregate foundation. Renovate a bridge at Km50+284.76 with a length of about 12.8 m and a width of about 9 m. The operation of DT 719 route not only helps Ham Thuan Nam circulate goods well, accelerate economic development, especially tourism, but also contributes significantly to regional connectivity between Ham Thuan Nam - La Gi - Phan Thiet. From Tan Thanh, DT 719 route leads to Thanh Long Bay night economic zone and can reach tourist destinations in La Gi, connecting with DT 719B - Ham Kiem road to Novaworld Tien Thanh complex, which is where Phan Thiet is piloting the organization of night economy. From another perspective, DT 719 route only invests less than 500 billion VND but the economic efficiency is very large.
