The delegation offered flowers at the Uncle Ho Monument at the Tinh Tuc Tin Mine Historical and Cultural Relic Site; and directly visited the Company's mining site in Tinh Tuc Town (Nguyen Binh).

Cao Bang Minerals and Metallurgy Joint Stock Company was established on October 25, 1955, the predecessor of Tinh Tuc Tin Mine. With a long history, going through many ups and downs, currentlyThe company has over 190 employees; The company operates effectively in production and business, with a total charter capital of 80 billion VND, of which the Minerals Corporation - TKV (VIMICO) holds 51.89%, equivalent to 41.51 billion VND. In 2024 alone, the company produced 217 tons of 70%Sn tin concentrate, equivalent to 147 tons of 99.75%Sn tin bars. Revenue reached over 124 billion VND, nThe State budget contribution reached over 26 billion VND. Support for local social security activities was nearly 700 million VND. Average income reached 14.42 million VND/person/month.
The Company recommends: The Provincial People's Committee considers approving the Company to implement the Project of exploiting tin and other minerals in waste rock and soil in the Thap Luc Phan dumping area, Tinh Tuc town (adjusted) immediately after the Law on Geology and Minerals takes effect on July 1, 2025, without auctioning mineral exploitation rights. Allow the Company to establish a Project and grant a license to exploit tin and other minerals in waste rock and soil in the Western dumping area without auctioning mineral exploitation rights after the Law on Geology and Minerals takes effect. The Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches should pay attention to, consider and create favorable conditions for the Company to increase the capacity of recovering sand, stone and gravel during the exploitation process of the above project from the second quarter of 2025; consider supporting and creating favorable conditions for the Company to carry out investment preparation and apply for mining licenses for the remaining resources at Na Lung Iron Mine; continue to direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles and approve the investment policy of the Tin ore mining project and associated minerals at Nam Kep mine, Tinh Tuc town, so that the Company can implement the project investment, in order to ensure uninterrupted production and business activities, create jobs and stable income for workers.
Regarding the survey and assessment of landslide risk, the Company proposes that the Provincial People's Committee allow the Company to conduct additional assessments of the geological conditions of the area at risk of landslides (Tinh Tuc Hospital area, residential areas on the southern edge of the mine during the implementation of the Nam Kep Tin Mining Project), in order to supplement data information as a basis for designing safe exploitation of tin ore and associated minerals at the Nam Kep mine. The Company will provide funding.

For recommendations, regardingExtend the exploitation of the Thap Luc Phan waste dump and the Tay area of Tinh Tuc mine; submit and request approval of the Nam Kep tin mining project; establish a project to exploit the remaining part of the Na Lung iron mine; propose to increase the exploitation capacity of common construction materials, gThe Provincial People's Committee directs departments and branches to coordinate in clarifying the Company's recommendations. For recommendations related to the legal basis that has not been unified, such as the establishment of a project to exploit minerals without auction, the opinions of the Central ministries and branches can be consulted. Regarding the Nam Kep tin mining project, relevant departments, branches and local People's Committees continue to closely coordinate with the Company to comprehensively and thoroughly assess the feasibility of the project.
Propose that the Provincial Party Committee direct the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant sectors to continue coordinating to review and evaluate the progress of mineral exploitation projects in the area.
