The Department proactively deployed, developed plans, established inspection teams, and organized implementation. In the first quarter of 2025, in the field of culture and sports, the Department Inspectorate inspected 9 relic and festival sites. Through the inspection work, combined with propaganda and dissemination of legal education for organizations and individuals on cultural, sports, heritage, relic and festival activities. The inspection team requested the Relic Management Boards, Festival Organizing Boards, incense keepers, temple keepers, and pagodas to strengthen fire prevention and fighting measures; not to accept strange mascots, not to use inappropriate foreign symbolic products and mascots at relics; to plan service shops, build a business culture, sign commitments with business households not to encroach on sidewalks and roads, not to trade in inappropriate goods, strictly prohibit the exchange of small change for price differences; sell fresh and wild animals and animal foods at relics; Strictly implement the management of relics and festival organization; properly manage revenue and expenditure according to regulations; strengthen propaganda about the history of relics and the significance of festivals; at the same time, propagate to the people and tourists to practice civilized lifestyle during festivals...

In the field of tourism, the Department focuses on reviewing and grasping information on the situation of tourists coming to Quang Ninh during the Lunar New Year 2025 and the 2025 Festival season; inspecting and guiding tourist accommodation establishments; restaurants, shopping centers serving tourists; tourist areas, entertainment areas; travel businesses, tour guides in preparing conditions for facilities, services and organizing reception and service for tourists to ensure improving the quality of tourism services, security and order, fire prevention, food safety, environmental sanitation; supervising the implementation of regulations on tourism service business, publicly posting the quality and prices of services and goods according to regulations; promptly detecting, preventing, correcting and handling shortcomings, limitations and violations affecting tourists and the tourism business environment to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of tourism in the province.

The Department has conducted 2 rounds of inspections and reviews of 8 tourist accommodation establishments, 45 tour guides, 9 tourist areas/sites that organized and operated the 2025 Spring Festival; organized a permanent tourism hotline, received and supported tourism information for 21 calls from tourists... Through inspections, administrative sanctions were imposed on 1 organization for not notifying before starting operations as prescribed; not publicly posting prices of goods and services as prescribed.

Along with inspection work, the Department also seriously implements citizen reception and complaint settlement. Immediately after its establishment on the basis of merging the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department quickly completed the organization and apparatus consolidation, issued regulations, and ensured effective and efficient operations. Focusing on building and perfecting institutions, issuing executive directives, promoting propaganda, dissemination and education of the law. The Department promulgates regulations on citizen reception, receiving and handling complaints, petitions and feedback; citizen reception schedule; publicizing hotlines for receiving and handling information and feedback on corruption and negative acts in public service activities...

In the second quarter of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will focus on specialized inspections of culture, sports and family at the People's Committee of Cam Pha City. Along with that, in the permanent task of managing the tourism business environment, continue to review and grasp information on the tourism environment situation in the province; effectively implement state management of tourism, focus on regular review and inspection of organizations and individuals doing tourism business. Strengthen the presence at Tuan Chau and Ha Long Ports, tourist areas and spots and at tourism service establishments to promptly detect, prevent and handle shortcomings and inadequacies affecting tourism activities...

The Department has also developed a specialized inspection plan, strengthening inspections to ensure safety in tourism activities during the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday and the peak tourist season in 2025. Focusing on implementing inspections and supervision of the implementation of legal regulations on tourism accommodation business to ensure facilities, equipment, amenities, and services for tourists; implementing regulations on price posting and selling at the correct listed price, ensuring security and order, fire prevention, environmental sanitation, food safety; travel business activities, tour guides, and other tourism services, promptly detecting and handling violations affecting the tourism business environment. Implementing good coordination in inspections and examinations according to functions and tasks to ensure strictness, effectiveness, and efficiency in the management of the fields of culture, sports and tourism.
