Creating conditions for women to develop comprehensively

Women's Unions at all levels from district to grassroots and women's organizations regularly disseminate the contents of the "Law on Marriage and Family", "Law on Child Protection, Care and Education", "Law on Gender Equality", "Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence"... Women's Unions at all levels also coordinate with the Public Security sector and other sectors and organizations to improve the quality of activities of the models "Managing and educating children in the family to not commit crimes and social evils", "Managing and educating adolescents at risk of breaking the law"; building and maintaining regular activities of "Women with the Law" clubs and "Core Women's Associations implementing and complying with the law" in the community; Equip the Association's officials and collaborators in family work with knowledge: education, pre-marital counseling, family life education, life skills, reproductive health for minors, community communication about good values ​​of family relationships... From 2024 to present, 100% of the branches have organized propaganda to bring the content of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", focusing on building the image of women with knowledge, morality, health, responsibility for themselves, family, society and country associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on the Association's activities.

Along with that, implementing Project 938 "Propaganda, education, mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving some issues related to women" in 2024 with the theme "Educating parents in caring for and protecting children", the District Women's Union coordinated with the District Youth Union to organize a talk show "Learning to grow up" at Truc Ninh B High School. As a result, it attracted more than 1,000 teachers and students. In particular, implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", 100% of the branches maintained the effective operation of the model "Women's branch of 5 no, 3 clean to build new rural areas (NTM)". Along with that, the District Women's Union directed the Women's Unions of communes and towns to organize a conference to model "Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean", associated with communication on the content of 4 values ​​to nurture Vietnamese families. Up to now, the district Women's Union at all levels has maintained 191 models of "Women's Union 5 no, 3 clean to build new rural areas". 21/21 Women's Union bases have established the model of "Building families of 5 yes, 3 clean", with 52,715/56,873 households meeting 8 criteria of the campaign "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean".

Women's Unions at all levels also organize many activities to care for and support women, especially those in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances. On holidays and Tet, Women's Unions at all levels in the district advise the Party Committee, the government, and mobilize businesses and philanthropists to regularly visit and encourage families with meritorious services, cadres, and poor women members. In 2024, Women's Unions at all levels visited and presented over 900 gifts, worth over 200 million VND in total, to poor women, women in difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, orphaned students, etc. In addition, Women's Unions at all levels from the district to the grassroots level also actively participate in flood prevention and control, and donate to support people inside and outside the district affected by storm No. 3 Yagi with a total amount of over 70 million VND. Concerned about the children of poor women, the Women's Union at all levels called on each cadre and member to save 5,000 VND or more to support the establishment of the "Warm House of Love" Fund and the "Hoang Ngan Scholarship" Fund, from which there will be a source of funds to award scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well, build new houses, and repair houses for cadres and members with especially difficult housing circumstances. Cadres and members of the Women's Union in the district have contributed 153 million VND to establish the "Hoang Ngan Scholarship" Fund, awarded 128 scholarships; and handed over support money to build and repair 3 Warm Houses of Love for 3 households of women's union members who do not have a house or have dilapidated houses in Co Le town, Truc Thang and Truc Khang communes with a total amount of 75 million VND. Continuing to implement the "Godmother" Program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the District Women's Union has directed the Women's Unions of communes and towns to help 100% of orphans in the area.

To support women members, especially poor women, to develop comprehensively, the Women's Union at all levels in the district also promotes the emulation movement "Women help each other to do good business"; focuses on supporting livelihood models, connecting women to access preferential loans, mobilizing women to participate in collective economic models, paying attention to vocational training... The exploitation and management of loan sources continue to be effectively implemented by the Union at all levels through channels such as: Social Policy Bank capital, Revolving Fund for household sanitation works, TYM Fund, household food security capital... Up to now, the Women's Union at all levels in the district is safely and effectively managing and operating over 253 billion VND for 4,780 households to borrow capital. Paying attention to vocational training for women, the Women's Union of 11 communes and towns in the district coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the District Agricultural Service Center, the Agricultural Board, and organizations to open 15 training courses on chicken raising knowledge according to the sustainable poverty reduction project for 480 households of women members. Along with that, to improve the effectiveness of the Project "Vocational training for rural workers" (Project 1956) and the Project "Supporting women to start creative businesses in the period 2017-2025" (referred to as Project 939), the District Women's Union also coordinated with specialized units of the Central Vietnam Women's Union to survey the training needs of small and medium enterprises, women members who want to do business to build a business start-up training course, equipping women members with basic knowledge about starting a business. Encouraging women to start businesses, every year, the Women's Union at all levels also encourages women to actively participate in the Women's Entrepreneurship Day organized by the Provincial Women's Union; organize fairs to display and introduce more than 100 OCOP products, traditional products and clean, safe products produced by female cadres and members in the district.

With many practical activities, the work of supporting women to develop comprehensively in Truc Ninh has had many positive changes. Since then, it has helped women in the district gradually stabilize their lives, build happy families, and affirm the role and position of women in the new era.
