Strengthening security and safety for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam

BBK - The People's Committee of Bac Kan province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 4073/UBND-VXNV, dated June 29, 2023, on implementing the Official Dispatch of the Ministry of Education and Training to strengthen measures to ensure security and safety for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam.

The working delegation of the Provincial High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee inspected the exam invigilation and security work for the exam at the Exam Council of Cho Moi High School (Cho Moi).

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province requested members of the Examination Steering Committee and the Department of Education and Training to focus on directing the Heads of examination sites to increase dissemination and remind candidates to strictly follow the examination regulations.

Exam invigilators, exam room supervisors and other forces involved in organizing the exam must concentrate and apply the knowledge and skills they have been trained in to prevent violations of exam regulations, especially the use of technological devices to cheat on exams. Promptly report to competent authorities to handle violations according to regulations.

Strengthen coordination with security forces to take measures to ensure security and safety of the exam in the area, especially to prevent and stop the use of high technology to violate exam regulations. Proactively provide information to the press about the exam situation, handling of violations of regulations and unusual situations for timely propaganda, warning and deterrence.

Telegram No. 1111/CD-BGDĐT dated June 28, 2023 of the Minister of Education and Training sent to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities stated: "On June 28, 2023, the 2023 High School Graduation Exam was held with two exams in Literature and Mathematics. The exam invigilation was carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations at all examination councils nationwide. Although the risk of using high technology to cheat on exams has been predicted and stated in the directives and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and is one of the key training contents, there are still cases where candidates intentionally use high-tech devices to transfer exam questions to the outside...".

Implementing the telegram of the Ministry of Education and Training, the direction of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province, on June 29, 2023, the Bac Kan Provincial High School Graduation Examination Council in 2023 issued a document, directing the Heads of examination sites to urgently and seriously implement the above contents./.
