Voters of Co Linh commune propose investment in developing Mu La Festival area

At the meeting, the Provincial National Assembly Deputies reported to voters on the expected content and agenda of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the issues that the National Assembly will consider and decide at the session. The results of handling and responding to voters' opinions and recommendations from before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly to the present.

After listening to the report, voters of Cong Bang commune expressed their opinions: There is a section of road about 1,500m connecting Cong Bang commune (Pac Nam) to Yen Tho commune, Bao Lam (Cao Bang), people have high travel needs, but the road expansion and concrete pouring are facing difficulties because this section passes through land belonging to Thuong Giap commune, Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province. We request that the provincial National Assembly deputies give their opinions to the competent authorities so that Cong Bang commune can expand the road surface and pour concrete on the above section, helping people to conveniently trade goods and promote the value of Cong Bang commune market.

Voters of communes submit petitions to the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Kan province.

Voters proposed that the State allocate funds to extend the power grid to Khen Len village to serve nearly 30 households; provide telephone coverage to Coc Not, Khen Len, and Nam Sai villages; and consider retirement under the Program to arrange the apparatus to ensure that people who have worked in remote areas for a long time can improve their lives.

Non-professional cadres at the commune level have worked for 10 years. Now that the apparatus is streamlined, will they enjoy any policies? Will they be assigned new jobs? The irrigation project in Phieng Luong village has been requested many times but has not been repaired or replaced yet, so it should be handed over to the commune level for implementation.

Comrade Trinh Duc Minh, Vice Chairman of Pac Nam District People's Committee, spoke to clarify some contents that voters had opinions about at the meeting.

Voters in Co Linh commune expressed their wish that the State should invest more in the Mu La Festival area to develop tourism; invest in upgrading route 258B from Cao Thuong commune (Ba Be) to Cong Bang commune (Pac Nam) to facilitate people's travel. They requested that the State consider planning only protective forest areas for protection, and create conditions for people to plant forests and develop forest economy in production forest areas. The ginger and taro growing community group in Co Linh commune requested that 5% of the project's money not be recovered, because the project implementation process encountered risks and was ineffective, while the households were mainly poor.

Comrade Do Thi Hien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, member of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke to clarify some contents from voters' opinions.

Voters in Na My village, Giao Hieu commune, want the State to invest in building a hard bridge for the villagers. Currently, there is a shortage of medicine covered by health insurance, so people who go to medical centers or treatment facilities have to buy more medicine outside.

Some opinions and recommendations of voters were directly answered by representatives of local government leaders and members of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting. Some opinions beyond the authority were accepted by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and forwarded to competent authorities for response and resolution in the coming time./.
