This is the second consecutive time that Sun Group has been honored by the World Travel Awards as Asia's Leading Integrated Tourism Group 2023.
Along with that, the group's member brand - Sun Hospitality Group - was also awarded Asia's Leading Hospitality Development Company 2023 by WTA for the second year. Sun Hospitality Group is currently a resort hotel brand in Vietnam that owns a collection of the most prestigious hotels and resorts in the region, while marking Vietnam on the world hotel industry map, with the position of a Group with many partners managing and operating top-class hotels globally.
In addition to the above two awards, Sun Group was also honored in three other categories, including: Asia's Leading Water Park 2023 goes to Aquatopia Water Park (Phu Quoc); Asia's Leading Theme Park 2023 goes to Sun World Ba Na Hills (Da Nang) and Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel 2023 goes to Capella Hanoi (Hanoi).
Covering an area of up to 8 hectares, Asia's Leading Water Park 2023 Aquatopia Water Park is a challenging destination located on Hon Thom Island (Phu Quoc), opening up an endless journey of refreshment for visitors with 21 games and the most modern water slides in Southeast Asia. Aquatopia Water Park has also been honored many times by WTA with this title.
Meanwhile, Asia's leading theme park 2023 Sun World Ba Na Hills is considered an attractive fairyland on the top of Chua Mountain, taking visitors into a fairy-tale world with beautiful ancient castles, vibrant street festivals and extremely impressive works such as: Golden Bridge - The world's leading iconic tourist bridge honored by WTA for 3 consecutive years, Sun God Waterfall, Time Gate, Moon Castle, Eclipse Square...
Designed by architect Bill Bensley, Capella Hanoi - Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel 2023 is the first property operated by the Capella brand in Vietnam. The hotel recreates a lavish inn for famous artists and composers during the golden age of Opera in the 1920s. Although it only opened in 2021, Capella Hanoi has been continuously honored with many international awards. To date, this is also the hotel in Vietnam that currently owns 3 Michelin-recognized restaurants.

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards is a prestigious and globally recognized tourism award, known as the "Oscars of the tourism industry". The award is held annually to honor outstanding destinations and quality tourism service providers in many fields such as Airlines, Hotels, Resorts, Travel Agencies, Tourist Destinations... 2023 also marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment and development of this prestigious award.
