Cuc Phuong National Park was honored as Asia's leading national park 6 times.

Cuc Phuong National Park continued to be honored as "Asia's Leading National Park 2024" by the World Travel Awards (WTA) on the evening of September 3 in Manila, Philippines.

The 31st World Travel Awards ceremony for Asia and Oceania took place on the evening of September 3 in Manila, Philippines.

According to the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board, the national forest in Ninh Binh has surpassed many other strong competitors in the world to be honored, such as Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park of Japan, Chitwan National Park of Nepal, Minnieriya National Park of Sri Lanka, Kinabalu and Taman Negara National Park of Malaysia and Cat Tien National Park of Vietnam.

This is the 6th consecutive time (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) that Cuc Phuong National Park has been honored as Asia's Leading National Park.

As the first national park in Vietnam, Cuc Phuong National Park is currently considered one of the State's public service units that has been effectively using the Government's investment resources and support from domestic and international organizations.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh - Director of Cuc Phuong National Park - said that the honor of WTA is a great honor and pride for Vietnam's forests and for Vietnam's ecotourism.

The award is not only a source of encouragement and great affection from the domestic and international community for the persistent efforts throughout the journey of more than 60 years of many generations of Cuc Phuong National Park staff through the periods.

It is also a recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of indigenous communities, experts, scientists and millions of tourists.

Also at the 31st World Travel Awards ceremony for Asia and Oceania, many destinations, business brands, and local tourism management agencies of Vietnam were honored.

Like Ha Giang was honored in the category "Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2024.

On the local side, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province was named in the category of "Asia's Leading Local Tourism Management Agency 2024", the only representative of Vietnam to be nominated.

And many other awards.
