Realize the 2025 work theme soon

On December 2, 2024, the Provincial Party Executive Committee issued Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU on the direction and tasks for 2025, with the working theme identified as "Breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term". This is an important resolution in the last year of the 2020-2025 term, which needs to be concretized by Party committees and organizations at all levels with programs and plans for implementation in accordance with the reality of each unit and locality.

Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Executive Committee defines the general goal in 2025 as continuing to strengthen the building and rectification of the Party and a clean and strong political system in all aspects; focusing on reorganizing the apparatus of the political system in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, ensuring leanness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency; promoting growth, creating breakthroughs in economic development, restructuring industries and fields, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, autonomy, resilience and competitiveness of the economy...

The Resolution has identified 19 main targets related to Party building, economy, society, and environment, with 6 main tasks and solutions set for implementation at all levels and sectors.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, said: Currently, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department is developing a plan and advising the Provincial Party Committee to organize a conference to study and disseminate the Resolution throughout the entire Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, orienting the press and media agencies to promote information and propaganda of the Resolution to all classes of people in the province in appropriate forms. From there, creating high consensus and unity in leadership, direction, and organization to successfully implement the Resolution's targets in the highest way, creating a premise and motivation for the new term.

In order to soon concretize Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU, the 14th Provincial People's Council recently held the 23rd Session and passed a resolution on the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 with 17 specific targets, along with many specific tasks and solutions. In which, the Provincial People's Council delegates highly agreed on prioritizing promoting economic development, maintaining double-digit growth momentum, and developing new growth drivers. Along with that, Party committees and organizations at all levels also met and agreed to issue annual resolutions, with work topics determined to be appropriate to the local situation.

Comrade Truong Manh Hung, Secretary of Van Don District Party Committee, said: In line with the spirit of Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU, the Van Don District Party Committee held a meeting, spent a lot of time assessing the implementation of tasks in 2024, thereby unifying the issuance of a resolution for 2025 that is close to the province's working theme associated with the specific conditions of the locality. At the same time, he directed the District People's Council to promptly organize a regular year-end meeting to determine the goals, tasks, and solutions to successfully implement the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee. He requested agencies and units to promptly summarize the tasks of 2024 and quickly deploy the plans and tasks set out in 2025.

To better grasp the key tasks in 2025, in December 2024, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will spend time inspecting and working with the Standing Committees of districts, towns and cities of the province, thereby suggesting and orienting the right policies and solutions, creating high consensus and unity in successfully implementing the tasks of Party building, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security in localities and units.

With the identified theme of the year, along with the proactive and active leadership, direction and implementation of the Party Committee, Party organizations and local authorities, the goals and targets set for 2025 will certainly be completed and exceeded the plan, creating a premise and motivation for Quang Ninh to take steady steps with the whole country in the era of development.
