Exciting Olympic Running Day - For National Security in Hanoi

This is an activity to celebrate the 77th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Six Teachings for the People's Public Security Forces (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), the 79th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for all people to exercise (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and major events of the country in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To; Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha and representatives of leaders of ministries and branches.

With the participation of 58 police units, 7 accompanying enterprises and the People's Public Security Sports Association, nearly 2,000 leaders, officers, soldiers, contract workers, students of People's Public Security schools; nearly 50 relay teams, the event is a testament to the pioneering spirit and determination of the People's Public Security force in implementing Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force, contributing to maintaining national security and social order and safety.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To emphasized that physical training and sports activities are mandatory for officers and soldiers. Physical training and sports activities in the People's Public Security Forces are always organized in a diverse, rich and practical manner to attract the participation of officers and soldiers while contributing to spreading the physical training and sports movement to the masses.

The Olympic Running Day - For the security of the Fatherland of the units under the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Police in 2025 is a practical activity responding to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" ready to join the country in stepping firmly into the new era.

After the opening ceremony, leaders, delegates and participants ran together along the route of 1 lap around Thien Quang Lake (1.2 km). Relay teams competed on the route of 4 laps around the lake (about 4.8 km).
