Also during this period, from December 20 to 24, 2024, Soc Son district coordinated with the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to organize the 2024 Shopping Festival, with the theme "Agricultural product shopping festival, promoting culture and tourism".
Head of the Economic Department of Soc Son district Hoang Thi Ha said that the festival aims to strengthen connection activities, support businesses, cooperatives, OCOP subjects of Hanoi, Soc Son district and other provinces and cities to promote trade, consumption and find outlets for goods and agricultural products.
“Through the festival, the district hopes to stimulate consumption, promote the production of typical craft village products, OCOP products... of localities; thereby contributing to promoting socio-economic growth” - Ms. Hoang Thi Ha emphasized.

At a recent meeting with relevant parties, Secretary of Soc Son District Party Committee Bui Duy Cuong emphasized: this is a series of events of important significance to promote and stimulate tourism development activities, services, culture, sports and the potential and advantages of Soc Son district.
To successfully coordinate the organization of the series of activities, from Race - Cation to the 2024 Shopping Festival, Secretary of Soc Son District Party Committee Bui Duy Cuong proposed that the District People's Committee proactively coordinate with Hanoi's departments and branches to review and unify the contents of the program; develop detailed plans, scenarios, and scenarios for the work content under the district's leadership.
The Secretary of the Soc Son District Party Committee noted that in the organization stage, it is necessary to clearly assign tasks and responsibilities to each individual and organization to ensure requirements and regulations. With a scale of about 120 booths and over 1,000 product lines, the 2024 Shopping Festival taking place from December 20 to 24, 2024 is expected to actively promote culinary culture, introduce craft villages and traditional occupations of Soc Son district in particular and Hanoi in general to domestic and foreign tourists.
