Every day, the Hiep Quoc anchovy factory attracts 15-20 workers to work directly at the factory. Starting from 7am to 5pm, each person picks the heads of 5-6 boxes of anchovies, and it is known that for each box, each woman is paid 35,000 VND. It is true that "practice makes perfect", with nimble hands, proficient at work, each day, each worker also earns an income of 200,000 VND to help her husband take care of their children's education. Like Ms. Cu Thi Tuyet, living in Phuoc Tien village, Tan Phuoc commune, every morning, after sending her child to kindergarten, she quickly goes to the Hiep Quoc anchovy factory to quickly start her daily work. Ms. Tuyet shared that this job is quite simple for her, so every day she can make up to 5 barrels of anchovies, from which she has extra income to help her husband take care of their children's education.

According to many women, working from morning to evening at anchovy factories also gives them a stable source of income to take care of their families. In addition to the women who come directly to the factory to work, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Quoc - Owner of Hiep Quoc Anchovy Factory, almost everyone receives anchovies to work. Up to now, more than 100 households in La Gi town receive anchovies from his facility to work as extra labor.

It can be said that although the job of picking anchovies seems simple at first glance and anyone of any age can do it, sitting for a long time will cause back pain, requiring the worker to be patient and hard-working... A typical example is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - living in Phuoc Tien village, Tan Phuoc commune, although busy with livestock and farming... but takes advantage of her free time to pick up more anchovies to work at home.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly Ly, also living in Quarter 4, Tan An Ward, La Gi Town, confided: "During the day, Ms. Ly and her husband work as construction workers, and at night she collects anchovies to earn extra income and support her family."
