Supermarket opens on the 2nd, many Tet items are discounted

On the morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year 2025, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City opened to welcome the new year. In the first days of the new year, from the second to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, the supermarkets will serve customers from 8am to 12pm. From the sixth day, February 3, the entire system will return to normal operations.

To serve people's shopping needs, supermarket employees returned to work early, stocking shelves and restocking shelves, especially in the fresh food section.

Accordingly, the Co.opmart and Co.opXtra systems have prepared a large amount of goods, notably 5 tons of live chickens of various types such as free-range chickens, whole chickens, frozen chickens, steamed chickens, and boiled chickens.

In addition, the system also imports many types of livestock meat, roasted snakehead fish, grilled snakehead fish, roasted snakehead fish with tamarind, along with a variety of green vegetables and fruits such as custard apple, coconut, papaya, and mango, to serve the Tet fruit tray.

Saigon Co.op representative committed to keeping prices stable, while implementing many incentive programs, discounts from 10%, 20% to 30% for many product groups, helping customers shop economically and happily at the beginning of the new year.

Specifically, frozen free-range chicken: 86,000 VND/kg, whole Huynh De chicken costs 104,000 VND/kg, whole Tu Quy chicken costs 86,000 VND/kg and steamed/boiled free-range chicken: 129,000 VND/kg.

The popular items for offerings at the beginning of the year are snakehead fish, which are quite diverse, such as roasted/grilled snakehead fish priced at 119,000 VND/kg, a tray of roasted snakehead fish with tamarind priced at 159,000 VND/kg, or roasted pork belly priced at 319,000 VND/kg.

Green vegetables have a stronger reduction, from 30% such as cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, Dalat carrots, cucumber, green onion, shiitake mushrooms, herbs... In particular, fruits of all kinds including watermelon, dragon fruit, red plum, orange... are reduced by 15 - 20% depending on the type.

Supermarkets opening early and maintaining operations throughout Tet not only meet people's shopping needs but also contribute to stabilizing the market, ensuring a continuous supply of goods during this important holiday.
