The concentrated super lean sow breeding farm for parents in Tan Quang village, Duc Lang commune was approved by the People's Committee of Duc Tho district for detailed planning in Decision No. 3407/QD-UBND dated August 15, 2014. The project started operating at the end of 2015, with a scale of 350 breeding sows, 6 boars, and 500 pigs/litter.
According to the petition of Tan Quang villagers, this pig farm often causes foul odors and discharges livestock wastewater into the environment, seriously polluting water sources and seriously affecting the lives of 10 households living near the farm.

At the meeting, representatives of the households requested that authorities and sectors have a plan to handle the environmental impact of the farm on 10 households living nearby, and at the same time propose a solution to the pollution situation.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Hoai Duc - Chairman of Duc Tho District People's Committee requested the functional departments and offices to advise the District People's Committee to decide to establish an inspection team to handle environmental pollution according to the petition of Tan Quang village people.
Mr. Tran Hoai Duc requested the People's Committee of Duc Lang commune to closely coordinate with departments, branches, and farm owners to provide complete relevant documents and cooperate with the inspection team during the implementation process.
After finishing the work, the group will report to the District People's Committee. If it is within its authority, the District People's Committee will handle it. If it is beyond its authority, the District will report to the Provincial People's Committee to ask for direction to resolve it as soon as possible.
