VHO - On December 19, the exhibition "Emotions from the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace" opened at the Xoai Road Relic Site, President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy attended and cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
This is the first time the Relic Site has systematized all the impressions that have been preserved over the past 55 years (1969-2024) in order to select typical impressions to widely introduce to the public at home and abroad.
The exhibition is held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to live and work at the Presidential Palace; the 78th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for national resistance (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2024).
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, said: Exactly 70 years ago, on December 19, 1954, after the victory of the resistance war against French colonialism, President Ho Chi Minh returned from the Viet Bac resistance base to live and work at the Presidential Palace, continuing to steer the Vietnamese revolutionary boat to the shore of victory.
During his revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in many places, but the Presidential Palace was honored to be the place he was associated with the longest - the last 15 years of his life.
70 years have passed, but his legacy still exists in every relic, document, and every corner of the Relic Site. Although the roads in the Relic Site no longer welcome Uncle Ho's footsteps every day, compatriots, comrades, and international friends still follow the familiar gravel path to visit his residence and workplace.
When visiting Uncle Ho's house, listening to small stories containing great lessons, many visitors left respectful and emotional impressions about Uncle Ho - the most beautiful Vietnamese person.
“With the honor and pride of preserving and promoting the heritage value of Uncle Ho's residence and workplace at the Presidential Palace, which is also the place that directly receives the sentiments of compatriots and international friends to Uncle Ho every day, the Relic Site has gathered the emotions that have been lingering in the pages of thoughts over the past 55 years to organize the exhibition,” Ms. Le Thi Phuong shared.
The exhibition “Emotions from the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace” honors the eternal heritage values left for future generations and affirms the respect and admiration of the Vietnamese people and international friends for the ideology, morality and style of the great leader Ho Chi Minh, the Hero of Vietnamese National Liberation, an outstanding cultural figure, an international communist soldier, a loyal friend of progressive and peace-loving humanity.
