Photos capturing moments during the class field trip were taken by student Tran Tra My and sent to the contest.
The 2025 Tuoi Xanh Photo Contest is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in collaboration with Tuoi Tre newspaper, Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SEDIDCO) and Viet Hong Import-Export Joint Stock Company (exclusive distributor of Nikon in Vietnam).
This morning, March 28, the final round of the competition officially took place with a rather new theme: experiencing the metro from Ben Thanh station to Thao Dien station.
Contestants will be able to work directly at Thao Dien station, which is expected to account for 70% of the photo content. The remaining 30% will be moments capturing personal feelings during the metro journey, a modern form of transportation that is gradually shaping the new face of Ho Chi Minh City.
With the theme "Portrait of my city - from a young perspective", the contest is a place for students to express their feelings, awareness and inspiration about Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of development. The preliminary round of this year's contest recorded an explosion in the number of entries.
A total of 17,271 photos were submitted, an increase of nearly 40% compared to 2024, becoming the highest record ever. Of which, the secondary school sector contributed 8,953 works, while the high school sector had 8,318 photos, showing the strong influence of this art playground in the student community.
