Phu Tho Provincial Job Exchange 2024

On the morning of November 2, the Provincial Center for Employment Services - Vocational Education (Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs) organized the Job Exchange - Job Exchange Sessions in 2024 in person and online.

Attending the event were leaders of the Department of Employment, the National Center for Employment Services (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs); the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan provinces; the Center for Employment Services of Hanoi City and the provinces of Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang...; a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors; units, enterprises, associations, production establishments... along with a large number of students and a number of online connection points in the province.

Participating in the Provincial Job Exchange in 2024 are more than 30 units, enterprises, associations, production establishments... with over 15,000 labor and vocational training recruitment targets. This is one of the activities to connect labor supply and demand between enterprises and employees; creating opportunities for enterprises to directly inform about the recruitment needs of the unit to employees; at the same time, employees and students of educational and training institutions have more information to consider choosing jobs suitable to their conditions, abilities, and strengths; high school students have the opportunity to learn about jobs, receive orientation advice on occupations, training programs of training institutions and job opportunities after training...

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Provincial Job Exchange in 2024, the leader of the Department of Employment, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Phu Tho province emphasized the importance of career counseling, vocational training, and job creation for students and workers. This is also one of the important targets and tasks in the annual socio-economic development plans of provinces, cities and localities.

In recent years, implementing the direction of the province, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has closely coordinated with departments, branches, localities, socio-political organizations and the support of enterprises and production and business establishments inside and outside the province to effectively implement programs and plans on job creation, sending workers to work abroad under contracts, gradually creating a flexible, healthy, sustainable and integrated labor market. Every year, the province has achieved and exceeded the targets and tasks of the plan on training, job creation and sending workers to work abroad under contracts. By the end of October 2024 alone, more than 17,800 people had new jobs, sending more than 2,700 workers to work abroad under contracts, while maintaining the unemployment rate in urban areas at below 2%, lower than the national average.
