Friendly match with Lens, MU will introduce Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund has arrived in England and completed his medical but the Manchester club have not officially announced the transfer.
British media confirmed that MU agreed to pay Atalanta 64 million pounds, plus 8 million pounds in additional fees to acquire the services of Rasmus Hojlund.
On August 1, the Danish striker took a flight to Manchester but later than planned. Therefore, the contract signing schedule was forced to change.
In the past few days, Rasmus Hojlund has completed health tests as well as photo shoots and interviews in preparation for his debut.
The 20-year-old will have time to explore Manchester and find a permanent place to live.
The club will officially announce the signing of Hojlund on Saturday (August 5), when MU has a friendly match at home at Old Trafford against Lens.
Most likely, Rasmus Hojlund will greet the Red Devils audience before the match takes place, similar to how Varane or Casemiro debuted at MU.
This young talent signed a 5-year contract, with an option to extend for another 12 months, with a salary of around £90,000/week.
Hojlund is considered the missing piece for coach Ten Hag in the Red Devils' attack. The Dutch strategist plans to train his student in the center forward position.
