Hieu Thu Hai's best friend causes a stir on the Rap Viet stage
Rap Viet 2024 episode 2 aired on the evening of September 28 witnessed many explosive performances and fierce contestants' competition among the coaches.
One of the outstanding contestants in this episode is Manbo - a close friend of Hieu Thu Hai's Gerdnang teammate. He has competed in Rap Viet 3 times but failed all of them.

On the Rap Viet stage this year, Manbo collaborated with singer Orange in a performance called "The Non-Stop Journey", talking about his thoughts over the years. The male rapper showed off his captivating voice and attractive flow (melody).
At the end of the competition, he was chosen by 4 coaches. Karik commented: "I was very surprised by what you brought. I can't promise that I can do much for you, but I'm sure that I will be the plane to bring you to your team as quickly as possible."
Judge JustaTee said: "You deserve more than that. At the casting in Ho Chi Minh City, the moment you missed a step, my heart almost fell out, but thank you for not giving up. You moved to the casting location in Hanoi and continued to be determined, thank you very much."
With the desire for Manbo to be able to fully develop his abilities, F.Hero chose Coach Karik as the place where the contestant belongs, instead Thai VG chose B Ray and finally JustaTee decided to let Manbo become a member of BigDaddy's team.
However, Karik chose Manbo as his First choice, so the contestant joined this coach's team.
Rapper Gill returns
For rap music audiences, Gill is not a strange name. He once caused regret when he stopped at the Breakthrough round of Rap Viet season 1.
Returning to Rap Viet this time, the male rapper brings a pure and innocent spirit to conquer the competition.
Taking the prototype from the song "Tuyet yeu thuong", the performance brought back many memories, especially for the 9x audience.

In the end, he successfully conquered all 4 coaches and 93% of the votes from the studio audience. He also declared that he had not revealed all his abilities, affirming that he was still an unknown quantity in this season.
Discussing Gill's performance, guest F.Hero praised: "You controlled every step of the rap well. The rap just now was a professional performance."
Eager to bring his favorite contestant to his team, BigDaddy threw the Golden Hat onto the stage. Following him was Karik, also determined to recruit Gill.
However, at the last minute, MC Tran Thanh surprised everyone by announcing that Gill would become a member of Team B Ray because the coach had chosen Gill as the First choice.
Female rapper YoungPuppy attracts attention
Rap Viet 2024 episode 2 also witnessed catchy and exciting performances by YoungPuppy, Willistic, An Roy$8386...
In which, YoungPuppy brought the performance "I love Puppy" combined with singer Luong Bich Huu, full of youthfulness and cuteness. YoungPuppy finally joined coach B Ray's team.

Willistic performed a performance called "Brother or Wrong" and won over coach BigDaddy, Suboi, and 81% of the audience's votes. In the end, he chose to join Suboi's team.
Impressing with the performance "Dream", contestant Left Hand became a member of coach BigDaddy's team.
Commenting on the contestant, BigDaddy shared: "Your test didn't really conquer me. But that's okay, with the talent you have, I can support you."
Finally, contestant An Roy$8386 brought to the Rap Viet stage the image of a playful, innocent, life-loving, carefree boy with the song "Living with emotions".
Judge JustaTee commented that this contestant has a liberal street energy, a satirical, spontaneous perspective, and is close to human life. He believes that An Roy$8386 has the image that he is looking for and wants to preserve in an increasingly tense community.
At the end of Rap Viet episode 2, coach B Ray successfully recruited Gill and talented female rapper YoungPuppy, bringing the total number of team members to 3.
Coach BigDaddy successfully recruited Left Hand and An Roy$8386, bringing the total number of team members to 4.
Coach Suboi recruited Willistic and Coach Karik got contestant Manbo thanks to the First Choice right.
