Since the beginning of 2024, the Government has regularly directed the implementation of the tasks of Project 06. Localities have actively piloted 19 model projects of Project 06, of which Hanoi has integrated VNeID and IhaNoi, equipped ANAT checking software for connected and exploited computers, deployed a software solution to digitize shared data, and piloted in Hoan Kiem district. Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces have ensured the conditions for deploying the use of digitized data to reduce administrative procedures in the fields of residence, land, etc.
To date, the whole country has collected 40.7 million customer records, comparing biometric information with citizen identification cards; 29 credit institutions and 13 payment intermediaries are deploying VNeID applications for 3 main business process flows (opening payment accounts; authenticating payment transactions; comparing and authenticating customer information) to help improve the effectiveness of state management and fight against crimes in the financial and banking sector. The police force has issued 9.8 million ID cards to citizens under 16 years old and has coordinated to collect a total of 547 DNA samples of martyrs' relatives. The whole country has nearly 15 million citizens who have integrated their Electronic Health Book on VNeID (reaching 18.46% of citizens nationwide). The whole country has completed digitizing civil status data with 111.5 million data and 20 localities have basically completed and are completing the data push into the Electronic Civil Status Database...
At the conference, leaders of central and local ministries and branches focused on discussing and evaluating the results, clarifying the causes of limitations and difficulties in implementing Project 06. At the same time, they proposed solutions to speed up the completion of Project 06's tasks in the last months of 2024.
Concluding the conference, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of ministries, branches and localities in implementing the tasks of Project 06. He suggested that ministries, branches and localities need to be more determined, more drastic, closely coordinate, and determined to speed up the progress, overcome the slow progress of 38 tasks and complete the tasks in 2024. Relevant ministries and branches must prioritize all resources, focus their intelligence, and promptly complete the conditions to submit to the Government to issue decrees guiding the implementation of new laws, promptly amend inappropriate decrees; promptly amend and issue circulars to replace old circulars to suit development requirements, and remove obstacles in the implementation of Project 06.
