Some energy saving solutions that Tan Cang - Long Binh ICD is implementing are: raising awareness and launching an electricity saving movement among all staff, employees and workers; replacing incandescent/fluorescent bulbs with LED lights; regularly maintaining and servicing electrical equipment to optimize the power consumption of the equipment; utilizing the factory roof to install solar power... In the coming time, the company will continue to promote solutions to save and effectively use energy sources.
Continuing the working program, the delegation visited Saitex International Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Amata Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City). According to the report, the enterprise currently has many factories operating in the province. One of the energy saving solutions that the enterprise is applying is installing solar panels for production, however, the capacity is not much. In the future, if the mechanism is favorable, the enterprise can install the entire factory roof area but only meet about 30% of the energy demand.
Therefore, Saitex International Dong Nai Co., Ltd. proposed to purchase solar power directly from the electricity company to meet the “green” criteria for exported goods to demanding markets. In addition, the company also proposed some issues that need to be resolved to facilitate the implementation of the goal of using energy economically, efficiently and protecting the environment in production.
