Ms. Giau's shelter was newly built with an area of over 50m2, costing nearly 100 million VND. Of which, the District Women's Union supported 60 million VND from the socialized source of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, the rest was contributed by cadres, civil servants, and workers of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and mass organizations of Cho Chua town.

Due to poor health and no stable job, for many years, Ms. Giau has lived alone in a makeshift house. The newly built, solid house is a very meaningful support for her.

“Thank you for your support in building the house I have dreamed of for a long time. This is the motivation for me to strive to improve my life,” Ms. Giau shared.

With the spirit of mutual love, those who have more help more, those who have less help less, Nghia Hanh district calls for the cooperation of the entire political system and the entire population so that all people in the district can live in "3 hard" houses - hard roof, hard floor and hard wall.

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, up to now, Nghia Hanh district has built and repaired 108/255 houses, of which more than 60 houses have been completed.

According to statistics, Quang Ngai still has over 6,600 households in need of support to build new or repair houses. The total cost of implementation is nearly 330 billion VND, of which the state budget is over 270 billion VND, the rest is mobilized from social sources. To date, the whole province has built and repaired over 1,300 houses, reaching a rate of about 20%.

According to the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Ngai province, in recent times, some localities have been proactive, creative, and flexible in organizing the implementation, proactively advancing funding sources for implementation and achieving good results.
