(CLO) For the first time, Vietnam will have a specialized website providing a comprehensive, official data system, presented in a modern, intuitive way, about the country's leading product brands and businesses.
On the afternoon of October 22, in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to launch the National Brand website (at http://thuonghieuquocgia.nhandan.vn).
Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Industry and Trade, President of the Vietnam National Brand Council.
Delegates pressed the button to launch the National Brand website.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that currently, many Vietnamese brands have reached world stature such as Viettel, Vinamilk... However, building, developing and protecting brands is still a weakness of domestic enterprises.
With the goal of building, protecting and developing prestigious international national brands and trademarks, Nhan Dan Newspaper cooperates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to build a specialized page on National Brands (THQG).
"THQG's specialized page on Nhan Dan Newspaper - the central agency of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and one of the country's six main multimedia press agencies - with comprehensive and transparent information about each enterprise and product will be a very reputable search channel at home and abroad, contributing to promoting, developing and protecting Vietnamese brands," said comrade Le Quoc Minh.

The THQG website includes 4 main sections: Brand, Enterprise, News, Multimedia. Readers can look up and learn in detail about the product brands of enterprises by industry, field, year of achieving THQG...; special photo and video collections about the production process, building THQG products. The website also has content and topics to protect brands, build the image of Vietnam as a country with prestige for high-quality goods and services.

According to comrade Le Quoc Minh, the highlight of the THQG page is that each enterprise with a product achieving THQG will have its own page, designed in a modern, highly interactive way. Each enterprise's own page includes: Enterprise information: introducing the logo, detailed information about the enterprise/product; News: news and articles related to the enterprise/product in Nhan Dan Newspaper and some official press agencies related to the enterprise/product; Press releases: enterprises post press releases about the enterprise/product; Multimedia: posting photos, infographics, videos about the enterprise and product.
“After launching the Vietnamese page, in the coming time, Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate to build an English version. We look forward to receiving the cooperation and support of agencies and businesses so that the page can be increasingly improved, contributing to promoting and developing Vietnamese brands, attracting investment and improving national competitiveness, bringing the country into an era of the rise of the Vietnamese people” - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper shared.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade, Chairman of the Vietnam National Brand Council said that the Vietnam National Brand Program is a unique, long-term and specific trade promotion program approved and directed by the Prime Minister since 2003.
As the standing agency of the program, over the past years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been actively coordinating with ministries, branches, localities; socio-political organizations, industry associations and international partners to effectively implement the key contents of the program; in which the content of propaganda and promotion for the program associated with promoting products achieving Vietnam National Brand is given special attention.

“The launch of the National Brand Page is an important event, marking the formation of a channel providing official information about the general activities of the program and outstanding activities of enterprises with National Brand products; introducing and promoting enterprises and products achieving National Brand, thereby raising social awareness about the role, significance, importance and necessity of building, protecting and developing brands; at the same time, building and promoting the image of Vietnam as a country with prestige for high-quality goods and services in the domestic and international markets”, affirmed Minister Nguyen Hong Dien.
