Dedicated to charity work

We know Mr. Son through the respectful story of a colleague who is a resident of TDP 12. From November 2024 to now, 33 elderly, lonely, and sick households in the group have been given a bag of rice every month along with warm words of encouragement. That is the result after many days of Mr. Son working hard to connect with benefactors to implement the "Charity Rice Jar" model launched by the locality.

The Party cell secretary and head of the Youth Front's working group shared: "We will continue to sustainably implement the model of "Charity Rice Jar" of group 12, as a message of concern from authorities at all levels, the community and kind hearts so that the less fortunate can believe in good things and strive to rise up."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, a woman over 60 years old without husband or children, was moved to tears: "What is more precious is the closeness, understanding, and devotion of the TDP Party Secretary to people in unfortunate circumstances like me."

Remember when we asked about the cases in the area that needed help, Mr. Son immediately said that they were Ms. Le Thi Thu Nga, a single mother raising a small child, "burdened" with a mentally ill brother; Ms. Tran Thi Nga, whose husband passed away, she herself is sick, her health is not guaranteed; Mr. Tran Dai Dinh, unfortunately has kidney disease, economic difficulties...

"To "belong" to such elderly, lonely, sick and disadvantaged households, Mr. Son regularly stays close to the grassroots, visits and encourages them, and at the same time demonstrates his spirit and responsibility through actions, providing practical support to the people in both material and spiritual terms" - Ms. Nguyen Dang Hong Nhi, a local resident, said.

With responsibility and enthusiasm, for many years, Mr. Son has actively contributed to improving the effectiveness of social security work at the grassroots level by connecting and mobilizing many organizations and individuals to contribute love and join hands to help those in difficult circumstances. In 2022, Son connected and mobilized more than 100 million VND; in 2023, more than 150 million VND; from 2024 to present, more than 310 million VND...

"Locomotive" in activities

The Party cell with Mr. Son as secretary has coordinated with the local government to carry out many meaningful activities such as launching Green Sunday, building a civilized urban lifestyle; mobilizing people to build cultural green spots; contributing funds to buy tables and chairs and decorate the traditional room of the TDP at Duong Xuan Ha communal house as a meeting place for the Party cell and local people.

Many models have received consensus and response from the people, creating a widespread effect, for example: the "Security Camera" model by mobilizing the installation of 5 security cameras on key routes; the "Exchange trash for gifts" model contributed to spreading awareness of environmental protection, collected more than 1,000 cans, plastic bottles and 200 kg of paper of all kinds. The "Cultural Green Spot" models at Duong Xuan Ha Park and Duong Xuan Ha communal house have brought many practical benefits when people have green space to play and relax.

Thanks to Mr. Son's coordination, the area has installed 2 sets of exercise equipment, 9 stone benches and 4 sets of solar lights worth more than 20 million VND. At green spots, rows of Taiwan banyan trees grow green and create shade. The model of "Fire Prevention and Fighting Inter-family Team" has been deployed in Area G - Bau Va Planning Area, helping to raise people's awareness of fire prevention and fighting.

“The model of the “Model Flag Route” on Dong Khoi Street with a length of more than 1 km, with 120 Party flags and national flags flying, is a source of pride, demonstrating patriotism, and at the same time reminding each citizen to raise their responsibility, solidarity, and join hands to build a “civilized, friendly, safe, and rich in identity” residential area,” the young party cell secretary shared.

With many contributions to the locality, Party Cell TDP 12, with Mr. Son as Secretary, has received many certificates of merit from superiors. Particularly, the young Secretary Nguyen Thanh Son was awarded a certificate of merit by the Hue City Party Committee (now Thuan Hoa District Party Committee) for excellently completing his tasks and a certificate of merit for his outstanding achievements in 5 years of implementing Resolution 05 of the Politburo on "Studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh"...
