In addition to visiting tourist attractions in Hue City, tourists also want to experience the programs and events of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025. In addition, the trend of independent tourists is forecast to increase sharply. It is expected that during the holiday, there will be many days when the number of tourists to Hue will increase dramatically. "A good sign is that compared to last year, when tourists usually stayed 1-2 nights, this year, after understanding the general situation, many tourists want to stay in Hue longer, from 2-3 nights to experience the programs, activities, events, and festivals," said Mr. Chuong.

According to representatives of some travel agencies, summer tourism is the peak season for domestic tourists. The 5-day April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, combined with the vibrant summer, will create favorable conditions for tourists to plan their trips. Due to high airfares, the trend of independent travel continues to prevail and tourists will prioritize choosing nearby destinations, tourist destinations with many events and festival activities; sea tourism routes and natural eco-tourism. It is expected that this year's tour prices will increase by about 10 - 15% or more due to increased service costs, surcharges and airfares. However, compared to previous years, the increase in tours and routes during the holidays this year will not be too sudden.

Hotels in Hue are expected to be fully booked during the holiday. Mr. Ho Dang Xuan Lan, Chairman of the Hue City Hotel Association and General Director of Parkview Hue Hotel, said that so far, the room booking capacity at many hotels is gradually being filled. This year, the demand of guests has increased more strongly, due to activities associated with the National Tourism Year, so guests have also booked rooms at hotels early.

A representative of Vietravel Hue Tourism Company Limited said that in late March and early April, Vietravel also conducted a survey and developed tourism products in the area to serve customers during the summer in general and the April 30 - May 1 holiday in particular. In addition to maintaining and developing experiential tours and heritage exploration, the unit has also surveyed services and the safety level of lagoon tourism to expand experiential tours in Tam Giang lagoon; open a tourist route to Bach Ma National Park, experience hiking to explore nature (trekking) in the forest.

According to Mr. Chuong, the trend of tourists wanting to have free experiences is also quite large. Based on the framework of the program and activities of the National Tourism Year, travel agencies have consulted and introduced to help tourists experience conveniently. In addition, businesses are ready to meet the needs of tourists with products and experience services.

In addition to the center of Hue City, other districts and towns will also organize cultural and tourism programs and activities to attract visitors. In particular, destinations such as A Luoi, Phu Loc, etc. will also cooperate with travel agencies to connect tours and routes, introduce and bring visitors to experience. Beach and waterfall tourist destinations will have their infrastructure upgraded and repaired to serve visitors.

A representative of the Department of Tourism said that in order to ensure safety and service quality for tourists, the Department of Tourism has requested local tourism businesses to improve the quality of their reception services. Tourist areas, attractions, hotels and restaurants have prepared adequate human resources and facilities, ready to serve the peak season of welcoming visitors to Hue. In particular, attention should be paid to ensuring the safety of tourists, fire prevention and food hygiene.

According to the leaders of the Hotel Association, right before the holiday, hotels also reviewed their facilities, developed plans to arrange enough staff, employees, facilities and necessary backup conditions to serve guests, and avoid being passive during the peak period.
