Social Policy Bank, Lao Cai Province Branch, commends excellent and creative workers in the period 2020

Attending the conference were Mr. Hoang Minh Te, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; Board of Directors, staff of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Lao Cai Province Branch and 90 delegates who are members of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies at district level and branches with outstanding achievements in Vietnam Bank for Social Policies activities in the period 2020 - 2025.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Bank for Social Policies, Lao Cai Province Branch, has carried out well the emulation campaign associated with the implementation of political tasks of localities, agencies and units, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to the completion of socio-economic, defense and security goals of the province. Timely advising the Party Committee and local authorities on implementing social policy credit activities.

Through policy credit programs, more than 122,759 poor households and other policy beneficiaries have been able to borrow capital with a total outstanding loan balance of VND 5,081.4 billion, an increase of 75.3% compared to 2019. Thereby contributing to helping tens of thousands of poor, near-poor, and newly escaped-poverty households borrow capital for production and business, create jobs, repair and renovate clean water and rural environmental sanitation works, support capital to cover study costs for students in difficult circumstances...

The branch has paid attention to, proactively deployed and well implemented emulation and reward work with the spirit of "consensus - quality - efficiency" with the motto "understanding people's hearts, serving wholeheartedly"; emulation forms are launched and organized regularly according to each topic, emulation content is associated with the political tasks of the branch and unit, associated with "studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". From there, it creates motivation for cadres, civil servants and employees of the entire branch to compete patriotically, excellently complete their tasks, contributing to the implementation of political goals, socio-economic development in the locality. During this period, the branch had 14/15 collective units and 41/129 individuals registered to build advanced models.

From the emulation movements, in the period of 2020 - 2025, many advanced examples emerged: 9 collectives and 24 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Governor of the State Bank; Vietnam Bank for Social Policies awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective to 30 collectives, the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level to 82 individuals; dozens of collectives and cadres were awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit by the Provincial and District People's Committees.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Bank for Social Policies, Lao Cai Province Branch will promote the dissemination of the Party's policies and guidelines, focusing on implementing Directive 34-CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work; innovating and improving the quality of emulation movements in line with key tasks, associated with promoting "studying and following the moral example and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh"; continuing to implement a number of key emulation movements: Emulating to achieve excellent achievements in completing tasks in the period of 2025 - 2030, completing the strategic development goals of the Bank for Social Policies until 2030, successfully implementing the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party...

At the conference, the Certificates of Merit of the General Director of the Bank for Social Policies were announced and awarded to 18 individuals according to Decision No. 1365 dated February 28, 2025 and to 2 groups and 30 individuals according to Decision No. 1366 dated February 28, 2025; and the emulation covenant for the implementation of tasks for the period 2025 - 2030 was signed.
