(NLDO) – Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tan Tai was removed from his position as Deputy Chief of Police of Tan Chau town (An Giang) due to having an improper relationship with a married woman.
On February 12, the Director of An Giang Provincial Police Department signed a decision to discipline Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tan Tai by removing him from the position of Deputy Chief of Tan Chau Town Police Department due to lack of self-cultivation and violation of ethical standards and lifestyle.
Previously, the Standing Committee of Tan Chau Town Party Committee announced the conclusion and decided to change the disciplinary measure from warning to dismissal from the position of Member of the Executive Committee of the Tan Chau Town Police Party Committee, term 2020-2025 for Mr. Tai.
Despite having a wife and children, Mr. Tai had an illicit relationship with a married woman. Mr. Tai's actions violated ethical standards, lifestyle, and regulations on what party members are not allowed to do.
Lieutenant Colonel Tai's violations not only caused bad public opinion among cadres and party members but also reduced the prestige of himself, the party organization and the agency.
