The objective of the Plan for conservation and promotion of the value of Ba Be Lake's scenic landscape (by 2030) is to promote the outstanding value of the lake, connect regions to form a rich chain of tourism products, contributing to the development of local socio-economic and tourism. The vision to 2050 is to become a unique national conservation and biosphere reserve, one of the attractive eco-tourism areas of Vietnam. Preserve outstanding values to form the nucleus of a world heritage site and global geopark in the future.
The key orientation for the special national relic of Ba Be Lake is to develop tourism in four directions: East, West, South, North with Ba Be Lake as the center. The North is for sightseeing of waterfalls, caves, community vacations, eco-resorts, etc.; the East is for the operation center, services, reception, resort hotels, etc.; the South is for community vacations, cultural conservation and development, eco-resorts and high-end services, etc.; the West is for preserving the population, culture combined with community tourism, exploring experiences and sightseeing, etc.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that tourism development must take advantage of the lake's advantages, with unique tourism products, along with the goal of conservation, sustainability, and rearrangement of residential areas. The people are the main subjects of cultural development, participating in tourism, associated with culture, daily labor and production life.
* On the same morning, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha visited and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Na Tu Youth Volunteer Historical Site, Bach Thong District, Bac Kan Province.
During the resistance war against French colonialism, this was where the Youth Volunteer Corps was stationed to carry out the task of ensuring transportation to serve the resistance war.
On March 28, 1951, during a business trip, Uncle Ho came to Na Tu to visit and encourage the youth and people here. He reminded the construction site command and cadres to organize labor scientifically, and to unite and love each other. Before leaving, Uncle read 4 verses of poetry to the youth volunteers:
"Nothing is difficult
Just afraid of not lasting
Dig mountains and fill seas
"Where there's a will, there's a way."
