Fine for motorbikes going up to 97 km/h in Hoa Binh

On September 25 and 26, authorities implemented monitoring measures and recorded many cases of motorbikes speeding on this vital route, some vehicles going up to 97 km/h.

Handling speeding violations not only aims to increase awareness of traffic law compliance but also contributes to reducing traffic accidents, especially those involving motorbikes and motorbikes.

Motorbikes were fined for driving on the Ho Chi Minh trail at speeds up to 97 km/h.

According to statistics from the Hoa Binh provincial traffic police, most of the traffic accidents that occur on the Ho Chi Minh route involve motorbikes and scooters. In this situation, the authorities have decided to increase inspection and handling of violations related to this type of vehicle.

Hoa Binh Provincial Police advise people to pay attention to speed limits, not to overtake illegally, cross lanes or cross lines, and to regularly observe to ensure safety for themselves and other traffic participants.

Pursuant to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (amended by Decree 123/2021/ND-CP), the fine for speeding on motorbikes is prescribed as follows:

Speeding from 5 km/h to under 10 km/h: Fine from 300,000 VND to 400,000 VND.

Speeding from 10 km/h to 20 km/h: Fine from 800,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND.

Speeding over 20 km/h: Fine from 4,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND, and may have your driver's license revoked for 2 to 4 months.

When coming to pay the fine for motorbikes, people need to prepare the following documents:

Vehicle registration

The offender's driving license.

Citizen identification card of the violator (1 photocopy of each type of document).
