Recently, the Vietnamese Buddhist Nuns' Delegation visited Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Nguyen Vu Tung, along with officials and staff at the Embassy.
The Vietnamese Buddhist nuns' delegation visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea included Most Venerable Thich Nu Hue Huong - Member of the Executive Council, Permanent Witness of the Central Buddhist Nuns' Committee; Most Venerable Thich Nu Nhat Khuong (Head of the delegation) - Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Central Buddhist Nuns' Committee; Most Venerable Thich Nu Nhu Thao - Member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Central Buddhist Nuns' Committee; Most Venerable Thich Dam Lan - Member of the Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Central Buddhist Nuns' Committee.
Also joining the delegation were Venerable Thich Nu Gioi Tanh - Member of the Executive Council, representative of Vietnamese Buddhism in Korea, Standing Member of the Central Nuns' Committee, and Venerable Nuns accompanying the delegation.

Here, Venerable Thich Nu Nhat Khuong sent best wishes to Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung and all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy, along with about 250,000 overseas Vietnamese living and working in Korea.
The Venerable expressed her joy at the fact that Vietnamese Buddhism abroad is actively carrying out Buddhist activities and at the same time promoting the good relationship between Vietnam and Korea to develop day by day.

In response to the sentiments of the Vietnamese Buddhist nuns, Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung sent his best wishes to the members of the delegation and prayed for peace and happiness for all the people of his homeland.

Previously, on June 25, at Phung An Pagoda, Samseong Ward, Gangnam District, Seoul, the Buddhist Cultural Center and the Vietnam Buddhist Association under the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Korea held a ceremony to pray for world peace in 2023.
The ceremony was attended by more than 100 Venerable Nuns from Vietnam. The program took place solemnly with a welcoming ceremony for Buddha, prayers for national peace and prosperity, and chanting of prayers according to Vietnamese and Korean Buddhist rituals.
