Launching the photo contest and exhibition "Pride of a border strip"

The contest is chaired by the Central Propaganda Department, organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in coordination with relevant agencies and units, to propagate and affirm the correct policies and guidelines of the Party and State, and the efforts of all levels, sectors and localities in implementing Resolution No. 33 dated September 28, 2018 of the Politburo on the Strategy for national border protection.

This activity also aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024). At the same time, it promotes the beauty and potential of national land borders to a wide audience at home and abroad...

The creative space includes 25 provinces with land borders on Vietnam - Laos, Vietnam - China, Vietnam - Cambodia.

According to the contest rules, photos submitted must be color or black and white photos created from 2022 to present. Each author has the right to submit a maximum of 10 works (including single photos and photo series). The Organizing Committee does not accept photos that are collaged, added, removed, or distorted from reality.

Contest photos are photos that have not been displayed or won awards at any national photo contests and exhibitions organized or co-organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

The award structure includes 2 award systems for 2 categories: single photo and photo series; The Organizing Committee will also select high quality photo works to display at the exhibition.
