Mr. Tran Huy Tuan is the Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.

With absolute votes of confidence, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

On the morning of November 6, Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to carry out personnel election work.

Delegates vote to elect Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, delegates listened to the report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the personnel introduced by the Politburo to be elected to the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, the Central Party Office announced the Politburo's opinion on introducing Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province to be elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

With the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was elected by the Executive Committee of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In October 2020, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was elected by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee. Before holding the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, he held many different positions such as: Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Secretary of the Van Yen District Party Committee, and Chief of Office of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee.

The previous Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee was Mr. Do Duc Duy. On August 26, at the 8th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly, Mr. Do Duc Duy was approved by the National Assembly to be appointed as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term.
