Mr. Tran Anh Tu continues to be Chairman of VPF Board of Directors

The VPF General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2023-2026 term was held in Hanoi on the morning of November 18. After the election process, VPF elected a new Board of Directors (BOD) with 7 members, of which only 3 people held the position in the 2020-2023 term.

Accordingly, Mr. Tran Anh Tu continues to be Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF; 3 Vice Chairmen are Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi, Tran Quang Thuong and Ho Hong Thach; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc is General Director of VPF and member of the Board of Directors; the last 2 members of the Board of Directors are Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau and Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh.

Mr. Tran Anh Tu was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF.

Those who left their positions in the Board of Directors of VPF are Vice President Truong Sy Ba, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Trang, Mr. Bui Xuan Hoa, and Mr. Nguyen Cao Tri.

Mr. Tran Anh Tu is the person with the highest total trust. The 3 remaining members of the VPF Board of Supervisors are Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, Mr. Bui Quang Vu and Ms. Cao Dinh Tue Minh.

Also at the meeting, 100% of shareholders supported the proposal to select 7 members of the Board of Directors instead of 9 candidates and voted to elect 7 people. Similarly, the Board of Supervisors also proposed 3 members instead of 4 candidates and voted to elect 3 people.

Among them, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh - representative of Ba Ria Vung Tau Football Club was the last person to be selected when the Board of Directors only had 6 members. This decision received high consensus from shareholders when Ba Ria Vung Tau Club had good development, contributing to the First Division and the national team levels.

Responding to a question from VTC News, VPF Chairman Tran Anh Tu said: " The highest goal of VPF in the next term is to continue to increase the company's revenue, through which football teams can receive greater support. The second important goal is to improve the image of V.League in many aspects. This is also the goal that shareholders desire ."
