BTO-On the morning of April 14, the first Congress of Delegates of the Binh Thuan Provincial Basketball Federation, term (2024-2029) took place at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Attending the Congress were Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Vu Van Trong - Vice President of the Vietnam Basketball Federation.
The congress took place in an atmosphere where the entire culture, sports and tourism sector is making efforts to organize many activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan homeland (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2024).
The congress is of great significance in facilitating management work, promoting relationships with federation organizations to train human resources, organize events and host basketball tournaments in the province, region and country. Thereby promoting the sustainable development of sports movements for the province.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam assessed: The Congress of Delegates of Binh Thuan Provincial Basketball Federation held at the present time marks the further development of the Basketball movement in the province in the coming time. The establishment of the Provincial Basketball Federation is the desire of many fans, passionate about this highly team sport . In recent years, the Department has paid attention to developing the Basketball movement among students, university students, and teenagers. The Men's and Women's Basketball Teams have also won Bronze Medals at the 8th and 9th National Sports Festivals and are continuing to prepare for upcoming tournaments...
The Congress elected a new Executive Committee and Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh was elected as Chairman of Binh Thuan Basketball Federation for the 2024-2029 term.
