Provincial People's Committee members meeting April 2025 (2nd time)

Delegate chaired the meeting of members of the Provincial People's Committee in April 2025 (2nd time).

At the meeting, the Department of Finance presented a Proposal (TT) on submitting a Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the Public Investment Plan using state budget capital of Ben Tre province in 2025. Members of the Provincial People's Committee gave many comments on the list of projects that need to be adjusted and supplemented to suit the actual implementation conditions and the planned capital allocation. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Truc Son assigned the Department of Finance to review and supplement eligible projects, in which the adjustment to increase or decrease the capital allocation for each project does not change the total allocated capital sources.

Regarding the TT on the report contents of Working Group 708 on the project to build infrastructure for the Resettlement Area serving Phu Thuan Industrial Park, Binh Dai District, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Truc Son agreed to propose approving the policy of reducing 3 routes N1, N9, N14 (extended sections, including resettlement land along these routes); wastewater treatment plant of the project, to complete the project in 2024 according to the approved implementation time.

Assign the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works to urgently carry out the process and procedures for submitting adjustments to the project investment policy and decision; conduct final settlement and end the project according to regulations. At the same time, urgently carry out the process and procedures for establishing, appraising and approving the investment policy for the project to build infrastructure for the resettlement area serving Phu Thuan Industrial Park.

The Department of Home Affairs presented the draft Project on reorganizing the inspection agency system in Ben Tre province and the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on reorganizing the Ben Tre Provincial Inspectorate. Members of the Provincial People's Committee agreed to implement the general policy according to the Central's direction on reorganizing the inspection agency system in Ben Tre province.

After listening to the discussion and comments of the members of the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Truc Son assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Provincial Inspectorate to review and evaluate the current situation of the apparatus, civil servants, departments under the Provincial Inspectorate, districts, and branches. Review and fully supplement the functions and tasks of the Provincial Inspectorate on the basis of receiving functions and tasks from the inspectorates of departments, branches, districts, and cities.

Regarding the headquarters, the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction are assigned to coordinate in calculating appropriate plans to propose to the Provincial People's Committee to consider and temporarily arrange a headquarters for the Provincial Inspectorate to work from July 1, 2025.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial People's Committee discussed, commented and approved a number of important mechanisms and policies in the province, such as: Report on the results of reviewing residential and urban area projects to remove difficulties and obstacles; Draft Resolution on allocating career capital to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025; Circular on requesting the policy of dismissing the position of Provincial People's Committee Member, term 2021 - 2026; Circular on approving criteria and a number of contents related to the work of evaluating cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to carry out the organization of the apparatus, streamlining the payroll and restructuring, improving the quality of cadres, civil servants and resolving policies and regimes; Circular on appraising the Report proposing investment policy for the Project: Purchasing medical equipment for 3 Medical Centers of Mo Cay Bac district, Ba Tri district and Binh Dai district; Report on approval of the Investment Proposal Report for the Solid Waste Treatment System Investment Project - Nguyen Dinh Chieu Hospital.
