Faced with the complicated developments of the floods, the rising water level of the Ma River has flooded hundreds of households in Thieu Duong, Thieu Khanh wards and riverside wards. The Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee has issued an urgent telegram to respond to the floods and at the same time organize the evacuation of people from areas at risk of deep flooding.

Accordingly, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa City requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes with dikes, heads of departments, offices and units to urgently organize forces to implement evacuation plans according to alert levels above alert level 2; organize the evacuation of all households of elderly, single people, and sick people who are unable to move themselves into the dike.

The mobile militia force is always on duty at the dike guard posts, regularly patrolling and guarding the dikes to promptly detect and handle dike incidents at the first hour.

Activate 100% of the unit's existing troops to prepare for duty and support wards and communes in emergency situations...

According to VietNamNet reporters, after the Chairman of Thanh Hoa City issued a telegram, the authorities and people of some wards and communes outside the dike organized the evacuation of people and property to higher ground to ensure safety and property.
