Talking about her learning methods, Phuong Linh shared that she always tries to build a scientific study plan and set different goals for herself at each stage. "With English, I don't consider it a pure subject but also a tool to communicate and help me access a lot of other knowledge." According to Phuong Linh, knowledge will be difficult to be deeply imprinted if it is only in the learning process at school or in books, so in addition to the usual theoretical knowledge learned, she often chooses to learn through practical experiences. "For example, with my interest in movies, I will learn more English through dialogues in movies," Phuong Linh shared about her experience learning English. My perspective on studying literature is more about thinking instead of reading a lot or learning by rote,” the female student said. Phuong Linh also shared her experience in studying Math: “In grades 10 and 11, I studied Math quite well. I made the most of 100% of the time in class. Because that is the channel where teachers directly convey knowledge to me and if there is anything I don't understand or have trouble with, I can ask the teachers to explain it instead of wasting time searching online.” Ms. Cao Thi Phuong Lan, Phuong Linh's mother, is very happy with the results her daughter has just achieved. “She always has many dreams. I always tell my child that dreaming is right but it can put pressure on oneself. And when there is pressure, dreams will be difficult to come true. Talking to VietNamNet , Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, the homeroom teacher and also the Literature teacher of class 12A12, said that when she heard that Phuong Linh became the valedictorian of block D1 nationwide, she and the whole class were very happy and proud but not too surprised. "This result is a very logical development and worthy of Linh's ability and efforts. During her studies in class, Linh always had excellent achievements and was always in the top. In the 12th grade student quality assessment exam of the Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training, she was also the valedictorian of the whole province." During her 3 years of high school, Phuong Linh also won many impressive awards, such as Second and Third prizes in the provincial excellent student exam. As a Literature teacher for class 12A12 as well as Phuong Linh for 3 years of high school, Ms. Huyen said that the most impressive thing about her student in her subject is that she is very good at Literature, has beautiful handwriting, and always has her full trust.
