After the training session with Meritorious Artist Linh Nga, the top 24 entered the first sub-challenge: Taking high fashion photos of The Lotus in the 2023 Legacy of The New Mentor collection with a lotus flower pot.

Each contestant will have 2 minutes to perform with difficulties such as balancing on a lotus tub, coordinating hands, feet, body shape with facial expressions...

Finally, the top 3 contestants with the most beautiful photos were named after the first round: Bao Ngoc (Lan Khue's team), Ngoc Anh (Thanh Hang's team) and Kloe Phuong Nguyen (Huong Giang's team).

In the end, Ngoc Anh of coach Thanh Hang's team had the highest score, winning this side challenge.

Meritorious Artist Linh Nga praised the contestant of Thanh Hang's team: "Ngoc Anh has a very beautiful arm frame, very Asian. There is only one photo here but she has a few other photos posing with her arms in front of her chest in the shape of a lotus flower, very standard, which I really like."

Talking about her victory, Ngoc Anh admitted that this challenge had both advantages and difficulties.

In particular, combining the lessons of Meritorious Artist Linh Nga for the art of lotus dance with the flexibility of body shape and facial expression when standing on a lotus flower bed is a big challenge.

"It was quite difficult to stand on the lotus flower bed to pose because it was wobbly. Although my outfit looked easy to pose in, it easily revealed my body's flaws, with a tight bottom and high slit.

I chose to focus on the arms when performing, the legs must be steady and maintain a beautiful posture. Each person only has two minutes to perform their part to get at least one photo.

I consider myself a bit lucky to have a nice photo, I look taller, not lost among the big beautiful flowers and got high scores from the three judges," the contestant expressed.

In the main challenge of The New Mentor episode 2, contestants from four teams took photos with the theme of time travel with a cheo artist.

Under the guidance of coach Thanh Hang, Ngoc Anh's photo received 2 "yes" votes from cheo artist Thanh Ngoan and host Duoc Si ​​Tien, helping Thanh Hang's team receive 1 point for their team's total score.

However, in the end, Ho Ngoc Ha's team won, and two contestants from Thanh Hang's team, Hong Hanh and Bui Ly Thien Huong, had to leave the elimination room because of Ha Ho and Pharmacist Tien.

The New Mentor is a reality TV show that searches for and trains a generation of models with new qualities, suitable for the new needs and trends of the market.
