Why does Miss Vietnam Student not accept candidates who have undergone plastic surgery?

The Miss Vietnamese Student contest has the participation of supermodel Thanh Hang and pharmacist Tien.

Miss Vietnam Student 2025 has the theme The Beauty of Intelligence, directed by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association; the Thanh Giong knowledge portal, the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Students in coordination with organizing units.

The contest aims to find a female student who is not only outstanding in appearance but also comprehensive in intelligence, a typical model for the success of university education. The winning girl will represent a harmonious combination of talent, intelligence and appearance, bringing positive inspiration to the community.

When asked if they would accept candidates who have undergone surgery to participate in Miss Vietnam Student, Pharmacist Tien - representative of the organizing unit shared: "We want to pay more attention to knowledge than physical beauty. True beauty is diverse beauty without stereotypes, you know how to dress and take care of yourself to be more beautiful, not thanks to plastic surgery".

Thanh Hang hopes to build a rich foundation and many experiences for young people through the competition.

This year, Miss Vietnam Student 2024 has a total prize value of up to 1 billion VND. Specifically, the new beauty queen will receive a crown, a cash prize of 250 million VND, a commemorative medal, a certificate from the organizing committee and a full scholarship in Korea. Meanwhile, the two runners-up will receive cash prizes of 200 million VND and 150 million VND, respectively.

In addition, the organizers also awarded additional prizes such as Most Favorite Female Student, Talented Female Student, Most Beautiful Female Student in Ao Dai, and Best Female Student in English Speaking, each worth 50 million VND in cash. The university of the crowned student will receive benefits with 200 interest-free student loans, 50 scholarships for students overcoming difficulties with a total cash value of 250 million VND.

According to the announcement from the organizers, supermodel Thanh Hang and pharmacist Tien will take on the role of host of the contest. Sharing the reason for accompanying the program, the 8X model expressed: "The name of the contest sounds gentle and cute, but to me, these are knowledgeable and extremely potential factors. We hope to build for you a rich foundation and many experiences through the contest."

The deadline for submitting applications for the Miss Student Vietnam contest is February 25, after which the organizing committee will conduct preliminary rounds in Da Nang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from March 21 to March 27. After that, the contestants will participate in a reality TV show, honing their soft skills before entering the semi-finals and finals, scheduled to take place in June 2025.
