People's Artist Thanh Tuan was taken to Cho Ray Hospital by his family for emergency treatment on the afternoon of March 25. Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, he fell into a coma, so doctors transferred him to the intensive care unit for close monitoring.

People's Artist Le Thuy shared that artist Thanh Tuan has a history of serious heart disease. Every time they perform together, his colleagues watch over and support him. Recently, while rehearsing for a program, artist Thanh Tuan complained of being tired and exhausted, so the performance had to stop. The female artist confided that she also informed close friends such as People's Artist Minh Vuong, People's Artist Trong Huu... They prayed, hoping that he would overcome the critical stage.

Artist Thanh Tuan was born in 1948, real name Nguyen Thanh Liem, born and raised in Quang Ngai. He is a famous cai luong artist, at the same time as Minh Vuong, Le Thuy, My Chau, Minh Canh. The male artist made an impression with many works such as Nguoi cau bong trang, Khoi song tieu tuong, Duong kiem Nguyen Ba, Tay Thi, Nguoi tinh tren chien tran, Xuan nay con khong ve, Nho Nha Trang, Chuyen xe Tay Ninh, Dong song que em ... In 2019, Thanh Tuan was awarded the title of People's Artist, at the same time as artist Minh Vuong.

At the age of nearly 80, the burning love for the reformed stage still urges People's Artist Thanh Tuan to continue singing to serve the audience. At the same time, he also puts a lot of effort into training and inspiring young artists in the hope of finding new talents for the reformed stage.
