People's Artist Le Khanh was born in 1963 into a family with an artistic tradition. She is the second daughter of two famous drama artists: People's Artist Tran Tien and Meritorious Artist Le Mai.
Since childhood, People's Artist Le Khanh has been noticed for her acting talent. The female artist has been in the art field since 1970 until now. Le Khanh is also one of the rare artists who was awarded the title of People's Artist at a young age, at the age of 38. At the age of 60, she is still energetic with film projects such as: Gai gia lam chieu, Noi giac mo tim ve ...
Le Khanh used to be a beauty icon. Possessing a graceful and elegant beauty, Le Khanh was a muse on stage and on the small screen. Therefore, when mentioning the original beauties of Hanoi, people often think of her.
At the age of 60, People's Artist Le Khanh has a happy life with her husband and children. Her love story with her husband is remembered by many people.
At that time, Le Khanh was famous nationwide for both her talent and beauty, and Viet Thanh was the cameraman of the crew. He took such care with the image of the nun that he made the artists wet the bridge where Le Khanh's character would cross just to make the reflection of the water shine, which would help the beauty of the "nunce" shine more brightly.
After the film, the two "fell in love" and continued to work together in the film "White Flower River". However, due to director Viet Thanh's family reasons, the two had to be apart for a year to resolve personal issues.
After exactly one year, Viet Thanh and Le Khanh moved in together in the house bought from the female artist's parents. After 20 years of living together, they had two children, Lam Khe (born in 1995) and Gia Khanh (1997).
But few people know that, until now, the female artist has never worn a wedding dress.
In the program Sisters , Le Khanh talked about her love: "My husband and I have a marriage certificate so that our children can have proper birth certificates, but until now there has not been a wedding ceremony. For many years, we still send each other affectionate messages: "Have you gone to sleep yet, my love?", "How was your day?"
The most important thing in a relationship is the experience we have for each other. My husband and I always try to keep our love like when we were young."
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, People's Artist Le Khanh said that through the ups and downs, she is satisfied with her life. Currently, she and her family live with her biological mother, artist Le Mai, in a house on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Hanoi).
In her free time, she still goes to coffee shops and travels with her close friends: Ngoc Huyen, Tu Oanh, Khanh Huyen, Nhu Trang... Recently, her close friends and she went on a trip to Korea.
"If I didn't make films, I would be like any other retiree. Every day I take care of my family, grow flowers and fruits in my garden. I'm addicted to my family, I want to take care of my loved ones myself. In my free time, I meet friends, go out to relax...", she said.

People's Artist Le Khanh admits that she has a positive lifestyle, so she believes that any incident can be overcome, as long as you think about it enough.
"If there is one thing that is most different about Le Khanh on stage and Le Khanh in real life, it can only be the spirit. Wherever I go, whatever position I hold, I am always aware of my energy and confident about it. Before people see my ability, they feel that I am a positive person," she said.
Retired, but the female artist is quite busy. She often travels to different places to make films, the housework is taken care of by her husband.
"My job requires me to travel a lot. If I'm not far from home, I'm very busy. The husband has to play the role of a mother, then witness his wife "pairing up" with one person after another on film without getting jealous. My husband can do that, so I feel grateful.
Without his support in my career, my career would have been cut short. I will never forget to mention him and be grateful to him for my achievements," she confided about her husband.
She said that if she is like her mother, artist Le Mai, who worked until she was 80, it means that she will have to move around a lot in the future. She is often away from home, but no matter how busy she is, she still turns to her family.
"The important thing is that no matter where you are or what position you hold, you should not do immoral or meaningless things to your loved ones," the female artist confided.
Director Viet Thanh is also very proud of his wife, he once told his wife on television: "Khanh is a housewife, a very good cook. One of the reasons Le Khanh keeps me at home on good and bad days is because of her extremely delicious meals. And Khanh is someone my friends love very much."
The male director said that he expected his two children to get married and hold a wedding, so that he and his wife could "follow suit", so that People's Artist Le Khanh could wear a wedding dress, making up for the disadvantages that she had not enjoyed.
People's Artist Le Khanh said that Lam Khe's daughter was somewhat influenced by the aesthetic sense that her mother had guided her since she was a child. Even now, although fashion items are sold everywhere on every street, she still prefers to choose her own fabric and have it tailored at a long-standing tailor shop on Nha Tho Street (Hanoi) so that the colors and styles suit her.
