This afternoon, March 21, the Ministry of National Defense announced regulations on enrollment organization and enrollment quotas for military universities and colleges at military schools in 2024.
Accordingly, of the 17 military schools that recruit university-level students, only 2 schools recruit students only to train domestically, the remaining 14 schools all have policies to send students to study abroad. The two military schools that only train domestic university students are Air Force Officers and Special Forces Officers.
Students of the Military Technical Academy are sent to study abroad in previous admission courses.
The school with the highest quota for sending students to study abroad is the Military Technical Academy, with 130 quotas for studying abroad (and 5 quotas for studying at non-military universities in the country).
Meanwhile, the total enrollment target for 2024 of this school is 540. Thus, the number of students sent to study abroad accounts for 24% of the number of students admitted to the academy.
The Naval Academy also has a high rate of students sent to study abroad, with 8% (the foreign training quota is 20 while the total new recruitment quota is 250).
