On April 18, the Hanoi Department of Health announced that it had issued a document announcing a list of 65 medical examination and treatment facilities that have successfully linked data on driver's health certificates to the Health Insurance Assessment Information Portal to provide online public services.

Hanoi Department of Health issued a list of 65 facilities qualified to issue inter-connected driver health certificates in Hanoi.

Accordingly, as of April 16, there were 65 medical examination and treatment facilities in Hanoi that were qualified to examine and issue driver health certificates; successfully connecting more than 502,470 driver health certificates to the Health Insurance Assessment Portal to perform online public services.

Recently, the Department of Health has stepped up coordination with social insurance agencies and related units to strictly implement the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Health on connecting driver health certificate data to serve Project 06 on developing population data applications, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030. Connecting driver health certificates helps reduce effort, time and travel costs for people, simplifying administrative procedures, people can request to reissue or exchange driver's licenses completely online.
